OVERVIEW 

This workshop is part of our Mental Health Awareness Month series that highlights and helps give you access to tools that help you take care of your mental health. One of those tools is: Sound Healing.

Sound vibrations have a powerful effect on your mind and body. Sound healing activates your parasympathetic nervous system where your heart rate slows, your blood pressure lowers, and your body relaxes so it can recover. The more time spent in a PSNS state, the healthier we are, and the better we feel! 

This session is a 45-minute sound bath. Different sounds and frequencies are created by instruments that will cause your brain waves to slow and drop you into into a deeply relaxed state.

So for Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re hosting events that highlight and give you access to tools that help you take care of your mental health. These are designed for all experience levels and backgrounds, so regardless of if you’re a first-timer or you’re a seasoned practitioner, you’ll feel comfortable in any session!

  • This workshop is open to everyone - Pilates Pros and Pilates Lovers

  • Cost is $30*

  • Wear comfortable clothes

  • Your body temp usually lowers so wear clothes that are warm and consider bringing socks.

  • We spend the session laying down, so it's also not a bad idea to bring a blanket, pillow, and/or eye mask so you are super comfy and cozy!

TESHA SMITH

Tesha Smith is a certified Meditation Teacher and has been helping others be well for over 7 years. She found meditation when she started experiencing feelings of anxiety and depression. She searched for ways to feel better and was able to heal herself with breathwork and sound, and as they say, the rest is history. Helping change a person’s sadness into happiness brings her so much joy, and using her gifts to change the frequency of the world - one person at a time - is what matters most to her.
