Like other muscles, strengthening your ‘mental muscle’ requires training. And one of the best ways to improve the mind is through meditation. Meditation is known to reduce stress, improve focus, promote recovery, and help you better connect - both with yourself and others. Simply put, meditation just helps make you healthier and feel better!

SOUND BATH MEDITATION

Description: (All Levels) In this 45-minutes session we blend meditative techniques to strengthen the mind and melt stress away. Expect to start with a guided meditation and pranayama (breath) practice to clear the mind and prepare the body for the deeply restful benefits of a sound bath. The frequencies created by the instruments will create a calming environment where you can tune out distractions and enter a deep meditative state.

Why You'll Love It: You’ll leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and aligned! These meditative techniques activate your parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS) where your heart rate slows, your blood pressure lowers, and the body relaxes so it can recover. The more time we spend in a PSNS state, the healthier we are and the better we feel!

What To Wear & Bring: Your body temp usually lowers so wear clothes that are warm and consider bringing socks. We spend the session laying down, so it's also not a bad idea to bring a blanket, pillow, and/or eye mask so you are super comfy and cozy!


KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

  1. Phones will be collected when you check-in and all other belongings can go in a locker

  2. Doors will lock at the start of the session and unlock at the end of the session so please be on time

  3. Aim to arrive 10 minutes early so you have time to get settled in; we suggest looking up where we are and understanding your parking options ahead of time

MEET TESHA

Tesha Smith is a certified Meditation Teacher and has been helping others be well for over 7 years. She found meditation when she started experiencing feelings of anxiety and depression. She searched for ways to feel better and was able to heal herself with breathwork and sound, and as they say, the rest is history. Helping change a person’s sadness into happiness brings her so much joy, and using her gifts to change the frequency of the world - one person at a time - is what matters most to her.
