TARA LYN EMERSON

For Tara Lyn Emerson, coaching and fitness are more than just a passion. For her it feels like throwing paint on a canvas and bringing a goal to life - it’s her art!

She is a California native, certified ACE personal trainer, Pre and Postnatal Coach, ELDOA Trainer, weight management specialist, and Spinning and TRX instructor. She’s been a featured trainer on fitness platforms such as Popsugar Fitness, iFit by NordicTrack, TRX Training Club, and FabFitFun

As the daughter of a professional tennis coach, you would think fitness is in her DNA, but Tara is NOT a genetically gifted athlete. As a child, Tara was diagnosed with a degenerative neuromuscular disease called Charcot Marie Tooth. This disease causes progressive weakness and atrophy to her lower legs, feet, and hands and there is no medical cure. So she’s always had to work a bit harder to stay strong.

Tara believes that in life, we are all given some adversity, and our strength comes from how we handle it. Keeping her body and mind strong has always been an important part of her life. She loves working with TRX suspension straps because they make her strong and stable without breaking her down. Additionally, doing stretching with Dr. Voyer’s ELDOA spinal therapy method gives her mobility and articulation in her joints. Believe it or not, ELDOA stretching has even helped Tara grow 1.25 inches taller, restoring her high-school height!

Today, Tara is the strongest she has ever been. Instead of getting worse, she is getting better and defying the odds. To be the best athlete she can be, TRX and ELDOA are Tara’s key ingredients, and she is grateful to share them with others!
